念のためだが、「撲滅」したわけではない。そんな簡単にはいかない。ただ、新しいアプローチで効果を挙げ、世界に影響を及ぼしたということだ。不勉強で事情を詳しく知るわけではないが、全般的に喜ばしい影響だろうと思う。経済学賞でもいいような気がしなくもない（経済学賞は厳密にはノーベル賞ではないけど）が、これが平和賞であることにはそれなりの意義があると思う。要するに、貧困は、平和の敵なのだ。だから、小金は世界を救う、のかもしれない。この視点は、今後いっそう、かつてないほど重要な意義を持つようになるのではないかと思う。
